On Tuesday, December 27th, the DalPra family of Sylvania, Ohio, died. They were taking a trip to Ironwood, MI to see family for the New Year holiday. Dr. DalPra, who happened to be the pilot of the plane, reported engine and landing gear trouble with their plane. All five family memebers of the DalPra family were killed when crashed into the backyard of a local home near the airport.
This terrible accident claimed the lives of Dr. Steve DalPra, his wife Colleen-Morgan DalPra, and their three daughters, Elizabeth, 15, Rachele, 14, and Giovanna, 12.
They were a loving caring family who truly had hearts of gold. They were loved by many people in and out of the Sylvania area. They will be missed and stay in our hearts forever.
We, students of Northview High School, ask for a apology from the Northview Yearbook staff, and Yearbook Advisor (Mrs. Sarah Flynn) for the omission of a proper memorial to the DalPra familiy. We, the undersigned, feel that this was a grave mistake that the Northview Yearbook staff made, and that they should give formal recognition to thier malice.
