Bioware is a business if we can make them understand that by using the current endings they alienate (no pun) their customers, and destroy the replay ability of the trilogy they are hurting their profits we CAN bring about a change for the better.

The #RetakeMassEffect movement does not in anyway condone attacks or insults on Bioware, EA, Bioware employees, or anyone associated with them. We are not here to make enemies. We are here to show a company that their devoted fanbase has been hurt, and alienated with some of their actions, and to ask for an explanation, and hopefully a solution.
Several members of the ME team are suffering from attacks on their Twitter and social networking sites. Rude, and inflammatory remarks are UNACCEPTABLE. Anyone found to be contributing to such activities will be removed from the #RetakeMassEffect movement without warning.
The Mass Effect trilogy is a defining mixture of shooter and roleplaying games. Its amazing story, action, and character development have led players on a roller coaster of emotions and satisfaction. When it was announced that by transferring save files from game to game players could have a single continuous story line with a well developed character cast players were enthralled.
As you travel the galaxy first battling the Geth, then the Collectors, and finally the Reapers you are presented with a myriad of decisions some small, some large, but all important. Small seemingly inconsequential actions in the first game could have dire ramifications later on.
As you travel the galaxy you meet a wonderful cast of well developed characters, many join you in your quest to save the galaxy, and as you get to know them the undercurrents of a galaxy in conflict are revealed. From a war to reclaim a lost homeworld, to a battle for the continued existence of an entire race YOU are given the power to resolve them as you see fit.
Then you reach the ending of ME3 and realize that everything you have done means nothing.
*SPOILERS*
At the end of ME3 you are given three choices, or rather you are forced into taking one of three terrible options.
No matter what you do the galaxy as you know it is destroyed. Instead of seeing the conclusion to all the choices you have throughout the games you are given a TERRIBLE cut scene (that makes no sense at all).
Instead of seeing the fruition of your relationships with other characters (most notable any love interest your Shepherd may have developed) the Normandy crew is (somehow) stranded on a strange world with no hope for rescue, and the fate of Shepherd is unclear at best.
This is a horribly unfulfilling ending to what should have been the masterpiece of the trilogy.
We need to show Bioware that we are unhappy with the way they handled this.
Fans of the Mass Effect trilogy have put far too much time, effort, and money into the game to be abandoned with such a fate.
Bioware desperately needs to resolve this issue. New DLC (something long) to add a new, more satisfactory ending to the game, or even a full expansion based as an epilogue to the trilogy.
Some possible ideas include Shepherd retiring or settling down with his/her love interest, returning to work as a Council SPECTRE, or traveling the galaxy as an inter-species diplomat.
Players need closure as to the fates of the various races, and organizations in the galaxy, and most importantly the fate of the crew of the Normandy (both current and former).
The current ending(s) could be left for those that enjoy them, but a more pleasant ending could easily be added.
We ask the Bioware please take the opinions of the fans into account, and provide us with more fulfilling ending to the Mass Effect trilogy.
