Do not deport the Vahidi family

Please sign this online petition for the Vahidi family who applied for Asylum in 2007 and and have since had their application refused. They were due to be removed from the United Kingdom on the 20th August 2010 but have gone into hiding from the UK border agency. There is still hope for the family if the government can be convinced that their lives are in real danger. Mohamed Vahidi is linked to the leaking of confidential nuclear details. His friend has already been executed by the Iranian government and his brother has been interrogated about the family's whereabouts. Farhad and Zahra Vahidi are also in danger if they are returned to Iran in connection with this situation, as well as their involvement in a protest against the Iranian government in the United Kingdom earlier this year. The family have been very good citizens in this country ever since their arrival and their two sons have been extremely popular amongst other youngsters in Manchester where they lived until their disappearance.
