nVidia has given the open source community drivers in the form of binary code for too long. While bad drivers that are closed source is almost as good as nothing, this is just too little.

The drivers that nVidia has provided for the Linux operating system has been riddled with bugs and would hardly be considerd alpha worthy software if it had been released by open source developers.

It is understood that nVidia will not release the source code for the drivers they have released in binary form. I, personally, have no need for that source ccode. Instead of asking nVidia to release the source code for their own drivers, in any form, we request the nVidia never releases the source code for their drivers, but instead release *good* documentation that will allow the open source community to make their own drivers.
