Dog Daycare Yellow Page Heading

This is a petition to the publishers of the Yellow Page directories to add a separate heading for Dog Daycare Services.
Dog Daycare is a service that has been gaining in popularity for the last 15 years and has become one of the fastest growing services in the pet industry. Dog Daycare is a service where dog owners can leave their dogs to gather and play with other dogs while being supervised by experienced dog handlers. It differs from Pet sitting which is a service offered at an owners home. Dog Walkers provide exercise but differs from dog daycare because the dogs are typically on a leash and not able to run, pounce, and chase with each other. Day boarding, which some kennels will offer, is where a dog is kept in a kennel most of the day. Boarding kennels will keep dogs in an enclosed area for overnight stays while owner is on vacation. We feel that Dog Daycare, due to its unique service, needs its own heading!
Having this heading will allow Pet owners to find a dog daycare in their area easily, will allow the industry to compile statistics, and will allow those who market products specifically for dog daycare service to be more effective.
