Eagles Take a Stand for the Fans Please

I was very happy to see the Eagles not renegotiate Terrell Owens' contract just because T.O. feels he is worth more. Now I hear they may trade him. To me the player wins if this happens. Terrell begged and pleaded to play for the Eagles and now he is pulling the same old stunts that as a fan makes me sick to even purchase a ticket to watch this whiner play. Most fans will not make in 10 years what a sports star will make in one. We are the ones that ultimately pay the players salaries. Yet we suffer the most with their 3 year old tantrums.
I for one am tired of NFL players that feel they are above the game. These guys get paid an extreme amount of money. They sign a contract that says I will play for you for this amount of money. They should honor that contract. If they feel they are underpaid, when the contract is up negotiate a better deal. Threatening to sit out should not be an option.
This petition is to support the Eagles. To not only refuse to renegotiate Terrell Owens contract but to not trade him either. He can either play for what he AGREED to play for or he can sit at home the rest of his career. I have been waiting for an owner to stand up to a player. Making a stand like this against arguably the best receiver in the game will speak volumes for future stars that feel they are above the game, contract, or any agreement for that matter. It would also make them think twice about listening to the advice of money hungry agents as well.
