We the undersigned believe that Marcys Woods, the 116 hectare woodland located on the north shore of Lake Erie should be expropriated without delay and set aside as a nature preserve for the benefit of the people of Canada and for future generations.
WHEREAS Marcys Woods is one of the last remaining natural shorelines of Lake Erie
WHEREAS This woodland is home to many rare, vulnerable and endangered species of flora and fauna
WHEREAS The survival of all species including human kind is dependent on a healthy natural environment
We feel that it is vital to protect this site from any future development.
