We the fans of Samantha McCall of General Hospital petition Bob Guza and the rest of the writing staff to please start writing Sam as an independent, strong, and confident woman with self respect. We ask that you give her dignity back as well as her self-assurance. We absolutely love Sam and hate that she cannot catch a break and be happy. She was first written as a strong and fearless woman and has been given nothing but the short end of the stick since she became involved with Jason.

All we ask is for you to realize there are many Sam fans rooting for her and we consistently feel let down. All we want is to be heard and acknowledged, and for our favorite character to be happy for once!!
