We the residents and business owners of the Village of Mahomet express our desire to have the burning of all refuse banned from our neighborhoods. We believe that burning of leaves and other refuse threatens the health, business and well-being of the people of Mahomet. We call on the Village Board of Trustees to end burning in the village by June 1st, 2009.
