Get a Free, Self-Referral Counselling Service for Young People in South Gloucestershire

After 45 years, Off the Record (Bristol) was recently forced to stop taking referrals from South Gloucestershire young people. This means South Gloucestershire young people now have no access to free, self-referral counselling. Counselling can be an effective early intervention that stops young people becoming unwell, reaching crisis and needing more expensive and longer term services. One in four adults and one in ten young people may experience a mental health illness at some point, therefore we feel South Gloucestershire young people need a service of this kind. To demonstrate this we (Mentality, a group of young campaigners) have set up this e-petition which we hope you will take the time to sign.
