Give back the rightful money of the students attending the Lou dance at BHS

This petition was created in order to refund the money of all participants attending the BHS Lou Dance on March 18, 2005. At approximately 9:00 PM, Police, Fire Engines, and Ambulances were called and told to come to the BHS lunch room, because supposedly a miniscule portion of people were highly intoxicated. At this time the Lou Dance was 2 hours in, and half way done. This can be stated as the end time of the dance. Police and Faculty gave instruction to the students attending; stating to line up and proceed out of the school. There was only one safe way out of the lunch room and BHS. All other exits were enclosed by faculty and/or police. NO students were allowed out through these doors even if they showed NO sign of intoxication. Some students were supposedly breathalysed, but most were just screened as they walked out of the school. Police said they were looking for signs of intoxication. Those minimal students who did show signs were then furthermore screened by a medic checking for unusual heart beat. If the suspected students heartbeat did show signs of intoxicated, the proper actions were taken. On the next school day, a Monday, a letter was given out to the teachers describing the actions, and what to tell to the students. After I asked every one of my teachers I got mixed responses about whether I will get a refund or not. Most saying I wont, but a small few not knowing. This continued for some time, until next day I got an official response of no refunds will be given out.


My point is ONLY 16 people showed absolute signs of intoxication. An approximate number of 500 students attended this dance. Thus the percentage of students intoxicated to the total amount turns out to be 3.2\%. So, for every student attending every .0064 students were intoxicated. Must I argue my point anymore?


What I ask for is that the money collected becomes distributed back to the students that attended this dance, omitting the ones that were suspected of being intoxicated. How much money should I ask? I clearly want $5.00, because I was at the dance for the time. This is the case for nearly all students. Other more serious actions WILL be taken if this petition is not strictly followed. I dont care about how much money the BHS has to loose, because it was their decision to start this idiotic raid. And, they will learn their lesson. Try getting the money from those fat pigs we call cops. Wait never mind they wasted it on DONUTS.
