I, one Thomas Michael Crosby, have been regularly using the nickname of "Tommy" on the NetGamers IRC network since early 2004. Recently, while still using the nickname actively, I was forced to change my registered nickname for security purposes. This was all fine and good, until some days ago, when the nick "Tommy" was registered for a bot that appears to do very little, other than prevent me from using the nickname that I've been using for the past 2 and a half years.
This petition is a request to the person who is using said nick to give it back to me, so I can go on living in peaceful geekdom without disruption.
