Over the past 5 years, Dr. Pelak, Assistant Professor of Sociology has proven to be a dedicated scholar, teacher, mentor, and participant in activities of the University of Memphis and the broader Memphis community. After careful review of Dr. Pelaks tenure and promotion appeal, the University of Memphis T & P Appeals Committee voted unanimously to recommend Dr. Pelak for tenure and promotion.
