We the people, of the United States of America, do not want any branch of government telling us how to live our lives!
In this country, we are supposed to live free, and that means free to live our lives the way we want.
Remember, we run our country, by the people, and for the people.
While it is clear, that killing is wrong, as is stealing, drunk driving, the use of some swear words in public, and on, and on, it is also clear, that telling us what we can watch, listen to, and what we do in public or private, is also wrong.
For example, if a class of students wanted to salute the flag and or pray, then they should have the right to do so.
If a student does not like it, then he or she has the right to leave the room.
Here is another example: If Howard Stern wants to be himself on TV or radio, then he has a right to do so, and I have a right to watch or listen to him.
People who think his shows are wrong, do not have to pay attention to him.
It must be noted, that there is MUCH worse behavior going on in our streets, schools, and indeed, right in our government offices!
If you spend any time at all on the Internet, then you will see even worse.
There is a nut in the state of Louisiana, who is trying to outlaw the wearing of low-slung jeans in public. (These are the same type of jeans you see Britney Spears wearing a lot)
These jeans are popular, and there is nothing wrong with them. They do not show "too much."
There are some states that will not allow the mailings of certain adult material, even though that same material is legal in most states.
If someone wants to order something through the mail that is adult related, then that person should have the right to do so.
If I, George Vreeland Hill, lived in one of those states, and if I wanted to send away for something that is adult related, I would do so. No one will stop me!
As of this writing, there are forty-nine states that do not allow same sex marriage.
No body of government has the right to tell two people how they should spend their lives together.
Our government taxes us more every year, which in turn, lowers our quality of life, while they let tax cheats off the hook, and spend billions on things we do not want.
It is time to let our voices be heard.
It is almost time to vote out the people in charge, one by one.
It is time to change the way our country is being run.
