We the undersigned, respectfully call on the Prime Minister , the Home Secretary , the Minister of Defence and the Government of the United Kingdom to guarantee that all votes cast in the 2010 UK general election by serving members of the British Armed forces be counted.
It is insufficient to state, that issues with the voting process exist for individuals operating overseas, especially when these individuals are overseas under orders of the British government.
Member of the Armed Services have been in various theatres of operation for more than a decade and the correct provision should have been made to ensure that service personel can vote and their vote be counted, as is their right as not only as British Citizens of the United Kingdon but as protectors of the country.
