We, the undersigned, petition Gearbox Software, Bungie Studios, and Microsoft to rectify their grave error, and implement co-operative multiplayer gameplay for the PC version of Halo: Combat Evolved. The CORE gameplay type, as is on previous Xbox versions of Halo: Combat Evolved.
Furthermore, we insist that Gearbox Software, Bungie Studios, and Microsoft recall ALL PC versions of Halo: Combat Evolved product from store shelves. And to replace the current PC version of Halo: Combat Evolved product with ones that include a game descriptor that is clearly visible, and clearly states that the PC version of Halo: Combat Evolved DOES NOT include co-operative multiplayer gameplay, the CORE gameplay type, as is on previous Xbox versions of Halo: Combat Evolved. So that the gaming public are accurately informed before making their purchase.
After paying around $100 to purchase Halo for the PC. Many, many gamers were extremely disappointed and appalled. After trying to play side-by-side a close friend over the internet, or tried with family and friends over a home LAN, gamers found out that there is NO co-operative multiplayer gameplay for the PC version of Halo: Combat Evolved.
To add insult to injury, those wanting to inquire about their expensive game product, only found themselves "screaming-into-the-void", as inquires to the developers or representatives of the game seem 2 go ignored and unanswered (faqs, forums, e-mails, letters).
The gaming public deserves better. Many gamers feel ripped off over their purchase. Hence, we ask of you to correct this appalling disgrace in the hopes that in the future, game developers and game companies will keep the gaming public properly and accurately informed before making their purchase.
