HEADKASE TO PLAY "ALL AGES" GIGS

Headkase play a lot of shows, but unfortunately they're mostly 18+ shows.
Hundreds of kids ask us to play 'All Ages' shows, but our applications to play them are very rarely accepted.
Most AA promoters prefer emo, hardcore, nu-metal and pop-punk bands for their shows, because it's a safe, clean option guaranteed to pull enormous crowds.
But those kids who are more into theatrical "freakshow" style bands along the lines of Murderdolls, Wednesday 13, Slipknot, etc. constantly miss out.
It's one thing for us to explain to the organisers/promoters that there's a demand out there for a band like us to play AA shows (and we do say this constantly)... But at the end of the day, it's the kids who need to make themselves heard.
The promoters need to hear from the kids that Headkase are a band they want to see. The promoters need to know that Headkase will attract lots of payers to their all ages shows.
Even if it means including Headkase on a lineup of the usual types of bands who get to play these sort of gigs. Whatever it takes to provide Headkase fans who are under 18, the opportunity to see us perform.
Kids, if you want to see Headkase play more all ages gigs, please sign this petition, and pass it on to everyone else you know as well. We can then submit a fully signed petition to the organisers of these shows to prove that kids WILL come to see us if they let us play.
