Honorable U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon,
We, the undersigned, request justice for the murder of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Ms. Benazir Bhutto. This is not a request from just the people of Pakistan, but from all nations around the world who are equally shocked, saddened and outraged at the murder and attempts to cover up the lapses in security provided to Ms Benazir Bhutto.
We request that an independent UN prosecutor be appointed to carry out a complete unbiased investigation of the assassination of Ms. Benazir Bhutto and We also demand that the same level of investigation should be carried out as performed in the assassination case of the Lebanese Prime Minister Harriri.
PPP Supporters believe that the Pakistani military agencies under the direction of the Pakistani dictator Musharraf are responsible for this heinous crime.
As the government of Pakistan has already issued contradictory statements regarding her death and continues to act in a suspicious manner, an investigation conducted by them will not be acceptable to us.
