Improved Internet and Network Connection at Plattsburgh State University

This is a petition to improve our internet and network connection at Plattsburgh State University. Without question, doing such will benefit the academic and social lives of all the residences of the PSU community. As students, it is imperative that we be able to
I. Send email as necessary. Email is considered one of the main forms of communication at this University, and on countless occasions we have encountered problems connecting to servers and sending mail.
II. Transfer large files quickly. Pictures, presentations, streaming video, and legally purchased music included.
III. View multiple web sites simultaneously.
IV. Maintain a network that is comparable to our neighbor Universities and sister SUNY schools.
At the present time, our ability to do the aforementioned is severely hindered. It is the goal of this petition to remedy the situation.
