Improving Sydney traffic

As I spend considerable time driving to all suburbs around Sydney I have finally decided to come forward with some suggestions to improve the traffic situation here in Sydney:
- shorten school zones from 8-9.30 to 8.00-9 and 2-3.30 to 2.30 to 3.30 - even a half hour every day will save Millions in lost time
- left turns: change from pedestrians having first go to cars go first and then pedestrians - a significant improvement and pedestrians are not forced to walk faster (awkward)
- left turn on red: why not have this on more crossings?
- shorten the time on traffic lights being red - change to yellow sooner to improve traffic flow
