Do you think it was right of the DNR to take my Muskie after I caught it in the Mississippi River? By the time I caught it 30 minutes later it died from the stress of the catch and being tangled up in the fishing line. By that time the fish start to bleed pretty bad then we tried to put the fish back in the river the fish did not respond then I tried to move his back fin in move it back in forth and still no response from the fish then I took it to the taxidermist and paid for it to be mounted then the DNR came over and said I will have to take this fish after this gets done. This is an injustice and I feel that I did the right thing by taking the dead fish rather than throwing a lifeless corpse back into the river.
