iPod Classic 240GB Petition

As a fan of Apple's products, and as a media consumer with many many gigabytes of video and music, I want to have the most convenient music storage device possible. With Apple's reduction of the iPod Classic line to a single 120GB model, I am not able to hold as much information on one current-generation iPod as I was one week ago.
With Toshiba's announcement of a 240GB hard disk that is the same physical size as the disk used in Apple's previous 160GB model brought hope that Apple would release a 240GB music player. I would respectfully petition Apple to release a 240GB iPod Classic model for those of us who wish to have the ULTIMATE in media player capacity, and don't need a fancy touch screen like on the iPod Touch.

For people with music collections into the many thousands of albums, 240 is still too small, but is a step in the right direction. I have never owned an iPod and never will until at least a 240GB is released.

I want to put my tv shows on my ipod, and the 160GB isn't big enough, but a 240GB would be, come on apple, you can do it!!

I agree! With more people than ever before relying on these devices for photos, movies, and music, 120GB doesn't seem all that large these days. There are already several upgrade programs out there, proving that 240GB drives in an iPod are possible. Let's
