Mr. Kenney: On Friday, June 29th, 2012, your Immigration Department ripped apart a family that is well loved in our community, the family of Motilal Maharaj. This family have been members of our community for quite a period of time. These are the kind of people we need for our country to thrive, hard working, honest, loving, giving back more than they received. Your department taking this action has upset a community, and we are going to make sure you hear our voices. And we will continue making sure you hear our voices until this family is reunited in their home in Kemptville. And if this family is not brought back together by the government that has ripped them apart, you will hear our voices the next time there's a federal election. This is our promise to you.
So please accept this as a formal request for you to intervene, and bring this family back to Kemptville, Ontario where they are loved, and needed.
