Katie Liberation Day

We the undersigned support the creation of a national holiday known as Katie Liberation Day on April 7th. Katie Liberation Day was originally created to commemorate the break up of Katie (a strong-willed and talented young woman) and her comparatively unworthy boyfriend.
Recently, however, those who celebrate the holiday have been using it as day to reflect on all current and past relationships in their lives. Some, inspired by Katie's example, consider breaking off any unhealthy relationships they might currently have.
Those who celebrate the holiday may also choose to forgo restrictive undergarments (i.e. bras) for the day, as a symbol of newfound independence.
Katie Liberation Day is a celebration of any positive lifestyle change, so any one can partake. It is not in any way limited to people of a certain age, marital status, gender, sexuality, race or religion.
We believe naming April 7th Katie Liberation Day, and making it a national holiday, will help people nationwide make healthier decisions about their lives, goals and relationships.
