Keep Jose Reyes a Met

Trade rumors have been swirling around Jose Reyes name for quite some time now and we as Mets fans have had enough of it. Many teams out there do not care about their home grown talent and will just buy good players, but we have two home grown stars in Reyes and Wright. Reyes is not only the best shortstop in the league as of now; he is also a fan favorite. His energy and pure love for the game bring excitement to Mets games even when they are doing poorly. I have never seen a player smile as much when playing a professional sport as Jose Reyes. Without him, the offense fails, the clubhouse takes a hit, and the fans suffer the most. We have put up with a lot of losing, a lot of bad manager hirings and firings, as well as dumb moves by ownership and management. Yet, if you trade Jose Reyes, we will say that is enough.

If Jose Reyes leaves the Mets, we, the fans, leave the Mets.
