Dear writers and producers of Lost,
We, the fans, deeply appreciate all that you do to bring us this wonderful television show. You continue to raise the bar in television making while keeping us captivated for an hour each Wednesday night. We are indeed thankful. We also understand that, in order to keep us captivated, sometimes character deaths are necessary to further the over-all story of Lost. However, we would like to bring one fact to your attention that we feel would benefit you greatly to know.
We, the undersigned, proclaim that we will no longer watch Lost in the event that the character of Sayid, played by Naveen Andrews, is written out of the show. We have grown exceptionally fond of this character through the way he has been portrayed by the very talented Naveen Andrews, and we believe that to kill this character (or to write him out of the program in any other form) would be to cause a great and unrepairable damage to your show. To us, Lost could never manage to be the same without the talents of Mr. Andrews and we here by pledge to discontinue watching the program in the event that his character is no longer featured.
