Dear Gov. Brown, Mayor Villaraigosa, Superintendent John Deasy, LAUSD School Board;
As a parent of the LAUSD area, I am outraged that the Parent Advisory
Vote is under attack. I will remind you that as public servants, you
work for We, The People. The Schools belong to We, The People. We
pay for the salaries of even the private Charter Schools. As
taxpayers, we deserve a voice in your legislation, and as parents, we
deserve a voice in what happens with our schools. I strongly urge you
to protect the Parent Advisory Vote, or you are going to have a lot
of angry parents on your hands.
