Ken Russell's French Dressing on DVD

French Dressing has had a troubled history. Following the unsuccessful London premiere, the original distributor - Warner-Pathe under the instruction of Elstree attempted to make the film disappear and such it hadn't been screened in the United States until 2004 or has ever been released on video.
46 years after original release, French Dressing has made successful screenings at the University of Kent cinema and a special outdoor screening at Herne Bay which was introduced by Ken Russell himself.
'French Dressing Central' is a non-profit resource, setup to archive materials related to the film and to promote the film as an important historical asset in regards to Herne Bay in Kent and Ken Russell's early trials in film-making.
Our extensive archive now holds the film's original theatrical posters from the UK, Germany and Australia as well as several original Associated British press photographs and lobby cards, to name a few.
We hereby announce our petition for release of French Dressing initially on DVD with directors commentary, inclusion of our archive and any extra material StudioCanal or the British Film Institute may hold.
