Legalize Horse Slaughter

Every year millions of horses die in a field somewhere, a slow and painful death. Many of them starve to death, eating their own feces to survive. Though there are rescues out there that can help them, these rescues are not billionaires and cannot afford to rescue all the horses in this world.

For that reason, horse slaughter should be legalized in the United States of America again.

Many horses that should be sent to slaughter are being driven on trucks to Mexico or Canada where slaughter is legal, making the suffering longer.

We should focus on making horse slaughter more humane by lethal injection instead of just beheading them, rather than stopping it altogether.
