We the undersigned take umbrage of congress pursuing the persecution/censor of a private citizen for an alleged act. We refer to your letter dated October 2, 2007 address to Mr. Mark P. Mays in reference to comments made my Mr. Rush Limbaugh. These comments, if further investigated, would have been found to be accurate and in reference to one person and later in reference to a known group of individuals who are misrepresenting themselves.
It would seem to the undersigned that our tax dollars could and should be spent in pursuit of real issues which face our nation. Further, Mr. Limbaugh has been and will continue to be one of the most patriotic individuals, whose support of the troops goes above and beyond yours.
We believe that a public apology is in order to Mr. Limbaugh and that your current responsibilities should be reevaluated.
