Lincoln Cathedral Association of Friends have recently funded audio 'Mosquito' devices to prevent young people congregating near the building. These devices have been criticised by human rights groups and represent an unethical way to treat a segment of society. The installation by Lincoln Cathedral shows prejudice and ageism and contributes to alienation and brokenness. We call for the removal of these devices and in their place a concerted effort to engage with young people in a constructive manner.
