Local Music Show on Planet Radio

If all goes as expected (please, oh please!!) I'll be in United States Federal Court this Friday morning, wrapping up my involvement in a conspiracy case that has been haunting me since November of 2000. When you see the newspaper stories about me on Saturday and the next Wednesday, or the stories about me on the TV news shows, that will be the end of the adverse publicity surrounding my involvement in the conspiracy.
Once that is the case, it is my sincere hope that the upper management at Planet Radio will give me back my radio show, which was called "Now Hear This". It aired for years on Sunday nights from 9:00pm until 11:00pm, right after Lou Brutus' "Hard Drive". On my show, I played about half local bands, like Fight Between Frames, Destroyed By Fire, Oh Juliet, and the like. The other half was devoted to new music that radio tends to ignore, everything from metal like Dragonforce and Lullacry and Soilent Green, to indie bands like Neutral Milk Hotel or Songs Ohia. And older stuff too, like The Minutemen, Iggy Pop, Ramones, Misfits, Smiths, etc. It was a lot of fun to do, especially playing the local tunes.
When I approach the management about starting up the show again, I would like to have some public support behind my request.
I'm hoping that you might be willing to sign a petition saying that you want the show back. The more signatures, of course, the better. I just want the big management types - the guys in suits - to see that our listeners want the show. The show was always sponsored by Toys, which is why I'm sending this to the Toys friend list.
Do you think you could help us out? Would you like a local music show on Planet Radio?
If so, please add your name to this petition, and then maybe post a bulletin with the link so that others can be made aware of the petition. Let's see how many names we can present to the Planet Radio management team so that we can rock the local tunes on the radio every week!
Thank you very much,
Dave Hubbell
