This petition is for a public safety ordinance, the general public has the right to know areas of Foster City, and the border as in the following:
Such things as safety signs, yield signs, stop signs, street paint pointing directions, and speed signs. Warnings for downhill speeds, one way signs, unclear lane signs. Such might and can be considered entrapment, with the local police only knowing where these signs or paint are located. Such as 'speed trap'. Cases where some vehicles are too large, or wide to fit in some two-way streets when parked; including car washes, bridges, ramps, or parking slots.
The sign and street paints has to be visible and not obstructed by trees, bushes, fences, or temporary structures. If the obstruction is privately owned then, the City shall issue warning to the obstruction owner or current user.
Exempt are emergency vehicles, that are present for emergency reasons, and are visible and heard.
