Miipy and Chakitty's Request for their Accounts

In November my boyfriend charged Nexon cash through Paypal to our (Nexon) accounts. Unfortunately, it was mistakenly charged to a credit card on the account that was not ours (a friend of his had asked him to purchase an item from eBay for him since he didn't have his own Paypal account, and my boyfriend added the card and forgot to remove it later). When our friend got his statement, he didn't recognize the charges and initiated chargebacks through his credit card company. As a result, our accounts were banned.





Once we discovered what had happened, we began working with Paypal (per Nexons instructions) to get the refunds canceled and the funds to Nexon. However, despite our constant communications with Paypal, the chargebacks still went through; though we had been told they were to be canceled. We did everything we were told in order to rectify the situation and it failed us.





We have already logged tickets with Nexon regarding this incident and received an automated message saying our accounts are permanently closed. We have both invested a good deal of time playing and untold sums of money (all valid transactions!) on our accounts. We have been loyal customers in the past, and I feel that the care we have received from them has been sub-par at best. Nexon has stopped communicating with us via their only method of inquiry; their ticket system. They are unreachable by any phone numbers available to us; their billing number is disconnected, the other just rings with no answer.

Dear Nexon,





We would like Nexon to allow Miipy and Chakitty to pay the money owed to Nexon and restore their accounts. It is to our understanding that if they were to ensure that you received the money for each of the original charges made (and as stated before, Miipy and Chakitty are willing to pay any fees that may have been incurred due to the chargeback process) there would be no reason to keep their accounts closed, as they would not be shorted any money. Miipy and Chakitty have not displayed any past propensity for fraudulent charges, so this should not be an issue.
