MiniClip.com Scandal

This petition is directed at MiniClip.com concerning their popular online game "Robot Rage".

First of all, many parents have spent lots of money to allow their children to play this game. The game itself is FREE to join, but in order to progress in the game, and compete against other players, you must purchase what they call "Super Packs" these are items that give the player more power, and more ability to compete. Each time a player upgrades, it cost $10.00. This may not seem like a large sum of money. But, when you figure up the cost of upgrading more and more, this can equal large sums of money we are paying this company.

The problem at hand is growing, as the forums for this game are allowed to be ran by underage children. Children that MiniClip as a professional company, does not know, does no background checks on, absolutely nothing. Yet they allow these children who compete against one another in the game to decide to gets banned and who is allowed to take full advantage of the game.

The result of this action is that many children who have paid good money to enjoy the game, are in fact being banned and blocked by other children who are given the power to make these professional calls on behalf of MiniClip. What it boils down to is, THEY TAKE OUR MONEY, AND ALLOW UNDERAGE CHILDREN TO HANDLE THE RULES AND ACTIONS OF THIS GAME. This is not fair, it is not right, and yes it very well could be considered illegal.

There is nothing right about a company such as this, making people pay to play such a game, and then allowing minor children to decide who gets banned and for what reason.

WE DO NOT PAY MONEY TO CHILDREN FOR THIS SERVICE, WE PAY MONEY TO THE MINICLIP COMPANY, SO WHY ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED TO MAKE PROFESSIONAL DECISIONS IN WHICH THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH TO BE MAKING? WHEN IS THIS COMPANY GOING TO STAND UP AND MAKE THIS RIGHT?

I am 31 years old, my husband being 35 years old. We tested the Miniclip game ourselves, when both of our children were banned wrongfully, after paying large amounts of money to advance in the game. The facts are that these ARE IN FACT MINOR CHILDREN making the calls on this game! After talking to many other parents, we have discovered that we are NOT the only people who have paid for the MiniClip game and been taken advantage of.

This is WRONG! And legal actions can be taken on the matter. However we sincerely hope that this petition alone will force the MiniClip company to stop allowing children to run their services for them.

For such a big, and well known company. It is down right shameful for them to allow such actions to occur.Yet to this point, they have done nothing to stop it or correct it. Well, enough is enough.
Following this petition, we WILL take this matter to further Media. We REFUSE to allow it to continue any longer.

You have to agree with the facts of this petition. This company is allowing underage children to exploit our money, make professional decisions, and take roles of moderation that children are not responsible enough to be leading.
