More Channels from Adelphia

To those in charge of Channel Lineups of Adelphia Cable in North Carolina, we need some changes. Our service is almost $50 each month. That is ridiculous for only 65 channels. It seems like our monthly bill keeps rising, but our service becomes no better. In June, we received Turner South. That is one channel. The previous change to service was a few years ago, when Adelphia took TechTV & Gameshow Network to Digital-Basic. In their place, we received Disney, HGTV, Food, Animal Planet, Hallmark, & Paxnet. While most people do enjoy watching Animal Planet, & sometimes Food, we did not get the better end of the deal. There are more people that enjoy watching TechTV & Gameshow Network than there are that enjoy watching all of our new channels combined. For $50 per month, we should get much more than we do. We understand that Adelphia does have to pay for each extra channel that they add, but with $50 coming in from each Classic Cable subscriber each month, Adelphia should have more than enough money to pay for the channels. We, as paying customers of your service, not only want more, but deserve more. We enjoy more than just "Classic" Television. If only you could provide us with some premium content, even if it is only one movie channel and some Discovery channels, we would be happy. I would much rather have cable than satellite because I believe cable is better quality, but it is hard not to switch when the satellite companies are offering their service, which includes over 100 channels including premium movie channels, in all rooms of a home, for about $40 each month. That is almost twice as much content, for $10 less. Which would you choose?

I am urging those who feel like we deserve more from our cable company to sign this petition. Maybe we can finally receive what we deserve.
