With the starting of Mozilla v1.3 alpha The Mozilla Organization has chosen to discontinue creating Mac OS Classic builds of their browser software Mozilla. Many Mac OS Classic users rely on this software as it is superior to other products. The discontinuation of this product for Mac OS Classic means that Mac OS Classic users, which number at least 80\% of total Mac users, will have to switch to another browsing application if they want continued support.
While Mac OS X may be the future of the Mac OS, many people choose to use or must use Mac OS Classic as their primary operating system. The discontinuation of Mozilla for Mac OS Classic means that Mac OS Classic users must settle on less standards compliant browsing solutions and will not have the best browsing experence.
Additionally, since most Mozilla users are not programmers, we cannot create a "port" of the Mozilla software or "build" our own copies. We either have to use an outdated version of Mozilla which has known bugs or settle on less standards compliant browsers.
Please continue your builds of Mozilla for Mac OS Classic so that we can continue to enjoy your product, get the best browsing experence possible, and continue to support The Mozilla Organization.

It is Sept. 26, 2007 today. Guess what, I -STILL- use Mac OS 9.1 and -STILL- use my G3-upgraded PowerMac 6100. I believe that if a new build of Mozilla/WaMCoM or whatever were made for OS 9, people would still have a reason to make use of their old Macint

I use a Powerbook G3 with a PCMCIA wireless card for which there is no OS X driver with Appletalk support. Therefore, when I boot in OS X, I can't print. As a result I spend a lot of time in OX 9.2.2 and having Mozilla is critical to me. I've been a long

Please keep Mozilla for Classic. Not all people can afford a new System. Classic Mozilla Allows them to continue to communicate in the FREE world. Please don't take away their freedom. Thank You!
