MTV Live 8 Coverage

We, The Undersigned, having been appalled at the broadcast of the Live 8 concert on MTV and VH1 are asking these networks to formally apologize for completely missing the mark of why the Live 8 concerts were taking place. During some of the most amazing performances, i.e. (Pink Floyd), we were treated to 20something VJ's telling us how historical the performance was. We already knew that. Thank you. Also, we would like an explanation as to why these networks ran commercials and generated revenue during a charity event that was to raise awareness about poverty in Africa. Not only that, due to the tape delay, the point of the concerts was completely taken out of context when the network took out chunks of speeches by artists and actors with serious messages to get across. MTV and VH1, we will boycott your networks until we get a complete explanation and apology for your horrific coverage of this historic event that you have completely destroyed.
