MTV, stay away from our music

Are you tired of Music Telivison channel (MTV) taking the good bands like Fall Out Boy, Avenged Sevenfold, Panic! At The Disco, My Chemical Romance, and more? It doesnt seem right when these bands are on the TRL countdown and theyre introduced right before or after artists like Paul Wall and 50 Cent. Or even Ashlee Simpson or Beyonce.

People like me are tired of hearing these new fans singing just their hit song, then going to a concert and seeing these people there, too. Now we cant get tickets to see their shows and support these bands that weve loved before MTV came and basically invaded them!

And its bad for these bands because theyre losing their great, hard-core fans and getting these people who know none of their songs. Some of these bands probably feel as if they need MTV to promote them and dont realize that they have such great fans and make different music that dont even suit them.

Do you remember the old Avenged Sevenfold? They had A LOT more screaming in their songs and they sounded much more unique.

And what about Fall Out Boy? They might not have changed too much music-wise yet, but they think they need such a big concert area, so they dont come to some cities because its hard to play there.

Now were hearing MTV play Panic! At the Disco and getting fans that like bands for all the wrong reasons.

I know Im definitely not the only one out there who thinks that MTV is taking our music away. Please fans, show your support for these bands and bands like them and sign this petition! It may do us all good!

MTV, please stay away from our music and keep your pop music. Thanks.
