Muslims, Dont do it.

Assalam-o-alaikum Wa Rahamat-ullah-e-wa barakatahu,


I hope this email finds all of you in good health and imaan. I would like to bring your attention towards an issue which is wide spread over the internet. I have seen on many occassions on many sites that people (individually or as a business) create polls or a surveys which lists different personalities around the world and they gather information that which one is the best. Usually in those lists there is also a name of "Prophet Muhammad (Sallah-o-alaihi wa-alihi wasallam)". As being a muslim we all love our prophet more than our parents and dearest ones. The issue I would like to discuss is that whenever we see his name in any such listings, out of our love and emotions we vote for Him because we want to see it on the top of the list. Now all of us know that there are more christians, jews and other non-muslims in the world than muslims. And the literacy rate of such non-muslim people are much higher than muslims, meaning they know the internet experience more than us. So as a logical explaination, no matter how much we vote for Muhammad (Sallah-o-alaihi wa-alihi wasallam) his name wont appear on top of those listings. I would rather take it as a trick by non-muslims to rank his name in lower order among rest of the people in that list, this in-turn would disgrace his personality that somebody who is a non-muslim is better than him, and we cannot be a part of this neither can we see this happening.

As being a muslim we know and believe that there can never be anyone in this world who is like Prophet Muhammad (Sallah-o-alaihi wa-alihi wasallam), so he cannot be compared to anyone. He is above all and his name should not be in such listings.

He is imam-ul-ambiya. No prophet can be compared to any ordinary human being so how can we compare imam-ul-ambiya with non-muslims.
