We, the undersigned, are fed up and bothered by the actions of the SPEED TV network.
During show NASCAR Raceday on June 10, 2007, 3 NASCAR fans, held up a sign promoting a website that is a NASCAR community on the internet. The founders of community, Rowdy.com, did not encourage this activity. It was simply a form of fan expression. These fans were passionate about their group and hoped to gain more members. Just as fans of ANY other NASCAR fan club do on a weekly basis on the TV program.
These fans were told that they must take their sign down. This was not an advertisement. It was simply the promotion of a community.
We are simply asking that SPEED allow fans to express themselves, by holding up whatever signs the please.
After all, Without the fans, there would be no show.
