NCAA Football Board

You say that you can't allow us to not follow the game board rule because it wouldn't be fair to the other game boards. Here is the thing. We ARE the exception. We have a community unlike ANY other game board on IGN. I doubt you hear complaints from the Smackdown Board or Madden Board about the NCAA Board being allowed to talk about college football.
Once again, the reason the NCAA Board is so great is because we are allowed to discuss the game AND college football. That's the reason the board stays alive 2 months after the game has been out. That's why we have such a close group of users. That's why our board is still active during the off season. We are the third highest posting game board. We are the exception to the rule. Do we need a mod like most boards to limit trolling, flaming, and spamming? Of course. But should our board not be recognized as something special and not be given a simple exception to a rule? No. We have plently of good posters who could keep the board in line if modded. But, once again, if you do not allow the NCAA Football Board this small exception, you are losing a great IGN community, you are going to lose Insiders who won't post anymore because you're ruined the only board they post in, and you are going to lose the best game board on IGN.
I really hope, for once, that you can take into consideration the people who are on the board.
If the NCAA Football Board is allowed to discuss college football, it in now way has a negative effect on any IGN user. However, disallowing this simple act is going to ruin a great online community.
The game is ENTIRELY based on college football and hence discussing college football should not be deemed as "off topic." College football effects every single aspect of the game.
I sign this petition for the sole purpose that the NCAA Football Board on the IGN Message Board system should be allowed to discuss college football.
