In NJ, Local Bank Branches are more and more opening their doors on Sunday and forcing their workers to extend their hours into Sunday. This is not good for their families or the community. For example; T. Policano of Nutley, said Valley National Bank fired her because she led a protest against the companys decision to work on Sundays. Policano, who worked at Valley National Bank for 26 years, and was two years away from retirement, indicates she cannot work on Sundays due to religious convictions.
We request that:
New Jersey Banks be legally prohibited from opening on Sunday
Please support our cause there are so many other people are home on Sundays; Government Workers, Stock Brokers, Doctors, Teachers, and Postal Workers. Bank tellers are no different. Please sign our petition to the NJ State elected officials. We the undersigned want no part of Sunday Banking.
