No Panhandling Withing 750 Feet of a Single Family Home

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens of the City of Austin, Texas, who urge our leaders to act now to adopt an ordinance to ban panhandling within 750 feet of a single family residence. Walnut Creek Neighborhood Association has been actively working with the City of Austin on the issues that plague our neighborhoods, but we are in a unique situation where we are very close to the major thoroughfare intersection of Braker and I35. We recommend that a new city ordinance be created to help our situation.
