Hasa co-chairs:
Over the past years, HASA has never charged a registration fee for their spring picnic. However, this year HASA is charging a $25 registration fee per team to play in the football tournament. We, the members, find the registration fee unnecessary since this is a social event, and not a event to charge students who participate in the event. This event was never created as a fundraiser nor did it state anywhere in the flier or the facebook event that it was a fundraiser.
In the HASA constitution under article XI section 3, it states the following:
Disclosure of Financial Records:
All financial record shall be made available to the members upon request. The Co-chairs shall provide annual budgetary report and a mid-year general accounting report.
Therefore, we, as the members, request that HASA provide us a legitimate reason for this fee. We, as the members, want HASA to set up a meeting discussing the financial budget for this year and to reimburse those who have already paid the fee.
