A quad bike business owned by Charles James Marais Po Box 100 Cooran Qld 4569 Ph 0418 874 036 email marais@optusnet.com.au which will operate all year round with two tours daily of 12 quad bikes from the property address of 298 Tablelands Rd, COORAN, past the rock pools to Woondum National Park south East of Gympie.
According to Mr Marais his Noosa Quad bike proposal has received overwhelming support, and only 5 objections, we do not believe that this represents the community’s true feelings. I believe this is because it was not publicised enough. The tours will damage tracks and frighten away wild life. They will be noisy and predominantly driven by inexperienced drivers which pose a threat to other trail users.
As a horse rider I believe I would be in serious danger if my horse or other riders accompanying me were confronted by several quad bikes.
