O.T Lee At Northlake

Some students of O.T Lee's (a maths teacher at Northlake Senior Campus, Kardinya, Western Australia,) year 12 maths class, do not agree with his teaching methods.



Year 12 TEE is a very important year and impacts on students lives in regards to their future. Some students are just not coping with O.T Lee's vague approach to his teaching, and the results of some students reflect this. The comparison in the classroom to those students who do understand is completely irrelevant, arrogant and can come across as intimidating especially for the less confident. Also, the understanding of the majority of maths cannot be obtained through just the simple reading of text, the constant reference to it as opposed to an attempt of explaining a simpler example in the event of misunderstanding, is pointless and time wasting. Demeaning students with quirky and sarcastic remarks...these are some of the things that O.T Lee does in the classroom that thwarts our learning experience and unbalances the environment as a class.



Therefore, we implore that any person of the senior staff talk to O.T Lee about adjusting his teaching methods for the greater of his students or alternatively, replace O.T Lee with another member of the maths staff.
