Peddie

This petition is directed at the Board of Directors of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. Its goal is to have the contract of Richard Peddie, President and CEO, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd go unrenewed. Those who have attached their names to this document are concerned about the impact Mr. Peddies poor management is having on the Toronto Raptors basketball franchise, the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey franchise, or both.

Sports fans in Toronto, and across Canada, deserve and demand quality leadership and vision from those running their professional sports franchises. Mr. Peddie has demonstrated neither of these qualities, and the time has come to find someone capable of bringing championship-caliber professional sports back to Toronto.
