While the fans of The University of Southern Mississippi respect all Jeff Bower has done for our program, we feel it is time to move in a different direction. We feel Bower should be properly honored for his accomplishments, but he and his coaching staff no longer show an ability to compete even on a conference level let alone a national level. We only want what is best for the Southern Miss, and currently feel that the administration does not have the best interest of the school in mind when it comes to football. We would ask that Jeff Bower resign as Head Football Coach, and that a team composed of faculty, staff, students, and alumni be assembled for the purpose of hiring a new Head Football Coach
