Petition to Discipline Charles Walthall

To Christopher Sullivan, Commander-in-Chief of the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) and the General Executive Council of the same:

Whereas Charles Walthall is a member of the SCV and currently serves as the Commander of the Kansas Division and

Whereas Cmdr. Walthall has repeatedly insulted the honor of many members of the SCV on multiple email and online forums and

Whereas Cmdr. Walthall has publicly stated that the Louisiana Division was comprised of pedophiles and felons and

Whereas Cmdr. Walthall publicly declared that the SCV was overrun with KKK members, neo-nazis and racists and

Whereas Cmdr. Walthall has appointed ineligible persons to positions on his Division staff and

Whereas Cmdr. Walthall has issued orders barring SCV members in Kansas from receiving official SCV news and

Whereas Cmdr. Walthall is an embarrassment to the SCV,

Therefore, we the undersigned do respectfully and earnestly demand that an investigation into the actions of Charles Walthall be conducted and appropriate charges filed for multiple violations of the SCV Constitution and

Furthermore that Charles Walthall be suspended immediately, upon your authority, for the violations listed above pending the outcome of the investigation and hearing and

Furthermore that should the hearing find Charles Walthall guilty of any of the above cited violations, that he be expelled from the SCV.
